Kitchen Garden Volunteer

We are looking for a Kitchen Garden Volunteer to help out with our Cardiac Rehabilitation Unit new gardening project.

As a Kitchen Garden Volunteer you will be required to:

Work as part of a team to help transform the raised beds and equipment we have received into a sustainable plot
Grow vegetables, herbs and cut flowers
Help with weeding, watering, digging, composting, picking etc
Assisting those who are less able to garden
Come and help out a few times a month, depending on sessions for the Cardiac Rehabilitation Unit
Be part of a group of volunteers running group sessions.

Experience would be helpful but not essential.

Volunteer must also be friendly, supportive and considerate to everyone involved and be able to encourage someone if they are struggling to grasp a new skill.
