Clinic Support Volunteer for Diabetic Foot Clinic

Do you want to find out more about Diabetes and the impact it can have on the lives of our patients or do you already understand and would like to support the people who attend our specialised outpatient clinic, Monday to Friday from 8:30 am.

We need volunteers who can meet and greet patients, support them if they need to visit other areas of the hospital for x-rays or blood tests and generally support the staff running the clinic.

You don't have to have experience to take part, but you must be confident in approaching and talking to people and be quite mobile as there will be a lot of walking about.

Our staff will provide you with information about the clinic and how to support the patients visiting and you will receive training on how to escort patients safely for both you and them.

This is a great new opportunity to support a unique clinic.
