Patient Experience Volunteer
We need volunteers to support our Patient Advice and Liaison Service within Warrington Hospital. As a Patient Experience Volunteer you will be
•Providing a ‘meet and greet’ service to patients attending the PALS office
•Escorting and guiding patients to their destination
•Working alongside patients, families, carers and members of the public to complete surveys in regards to their experience of the Trust.
•Participating in events to raise the number of patient experience forms completed across the Trust
•Providing general admin duties to the PALS office e.g checking and answering emails, telephone calls, helping with reports, distributing information leaflets
•Where directed and you feel comfortable you could help address patient concerns and try to provide resolutions to a wide variety of problems or issues
•Communicate and liaise with a variety of staff and departments within the hospital and outside agencies
•Use IT to access and accurately record information on IT systems
•Report any patient concerns to the PALS coordinator
