Volunteering Opportunity - Medical Equipment Records Archivist, The Medical Engineering Department has a considerable number of paper documents associated with the Trust’s Medical Devices that need to be permanently retained. The department is in the process of moving to more electronic based processes and intend to archive many of the older paper documents. To that end there is a requirement to scan these paper documents into electronic files, verify the quality of the scan and store the electronic file as required. In addition the scanned documents will be temporarily stored for a period before being destroyed once confidence in the electronic storage has been achieved..
